Electronics engineers for equipment and systems (m/f/d) manufacture electronic parts and devices which they then put into operation, maintain and repair. They produce components and devices, for example, for information and communication technology, medical technology and measurement and testing technology. They put systems and devices into operation and keep them running. They work in the manufacturing area, in the inspection and quality assurance areas, in the repair shop and in maintenance as well as sometimes in the development department.
