With around 520 employees, EUR 92 million in annual turnover as well as twelve foreign subsidiaries, LAUDA is the global leader in the manufacture of innovative Constant temperature equipment and systems for science, application technology and production. We drive the innovation of our Constant temperature equipment and systems with passion and know-how. In the Research & Development department we need you:

With you as a Development Engineer (m/f/d), the creation of new and innovative Constant temperature equipment and systems begins at LAUDA. Together with your colleagues, you develop components and groups with a variety of functions in close coordination with product management, production, service or suppliers. Your basic tool is the 3D CAD system Solidworks, which you will use to design plastic and sheet metal components for our equipment. Therefore, you should already have extensive experience in using Solidworks or a comparable 3D CAD system. What else will you support us with? For example, in the design of sealing systems or with CAD simulations accompanying development. In doing so, you will develop in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines. Experimental development and coordination of tests are also part of your job. Of course, we master all of this as a team. Accordingly, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team, combined with a structured, independent approach to work, should be among your strengths. Also desirable: a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in design/mechatronics and more than five years of experience in the design and development of equipment.

Your profile as a Development Engineer (m/f/d)

  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering, specializing in design/mechatronics or comparable studies (master's degree or diploma)
  • More than five years of experience in the development and design of equipment
  • Extensive experience with a 3D CAD system (preferably Solid Works)
  • German language skills of level C2 and English language skills of level B1 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Structured, independent work combined with teamwork and communication skills

Your advantages at LAUDA
