A Reliable Pillar of the Purchasing Department
LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG honored Birgit Littmann-Breuer’s 40th work anniversary in a ceremony. In the presence of the management team and the executive board, the long-serving Purchasing employee was recognized for her loyalty, diligence, and reliability toward the family-owned company.
Birgit Littmann-Breuer joined LAUDA on April 7, 1986. Since then, she has worked continuously in Purchasing. Over four decades, she has not only witnessed all the company’s transformations but has actively helped shape them: from manually recording orders on a typewriter to building modern IT systems and on to group-wide intercompany processing and the organization of sea freight shipments from China. Her core responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions, posting invoices, managing supplier declarations, and handling Corporate Fashion – a range of duties that demands accuracy, reliability, and broad process expertise.
Dr. Gunther Wobser, President & CEO, paid tribute to the honoree with personal words in his laudatory speech: “Birgit Littmann-Breuer is a constant at LAUDA. What originally began as a six-month sick leave replacement turned into 40 years of loyalty, diligence, and precision. She has not only experienced systems, processes, and structures, but has actively shaped them – and has always remained true to herself: reliable, precise, and committed. She is the quiet star of the Purchasing department.” In recognition of her achievements, he presented her with the LAUDA certificate of honor and, on behalf of the IHK Heilbronn-Franken (Chamber of Industry and Commerce), its certificate of honor.
As Deputy Mayor of the City of Lauda-Königshofen, Hubert Segeritz conveyed the city’s congratulations and presented the certificate from the Minister-President of the State of Baden-Württemberg. He emphasized that LAUDA is deeply rooted in the city and stands by its workforce, especially in challenging times. Loyal employees like Birgit Littmann-Breuer are an expression of this corporate culture and strengthen Lauda-Königshofen as a business location for the long term.
Chris Moschüring, Purchasing Manager and Birgit Littmann-Breuer’s direct supervisor, emphasized that 40 years of service is outstanding. She has not only embraced changes in IT systems and work processes but has actively shaped them. He particularly values her reliability and openness, which enrich the entire team.
On behalf of her colleagues, Uwe Stastny – for the first time in his role as Chairman of the Works Council – extended his warmest congratulations to the honoree and praised her dependability and team spirit. Littmann-Breuer has mastered the entire breadth of Purchasing, from purchase requisitions to invoicing and reminders – always with exemplary willingness to learn. He also highlighted her long-standing membership in the IG Metall trade union.
Birgit Littmann-Breuer’s anniversary is emblematic of the corporate culture at LAUDA: reliability, continuity, and mutual appreciation as the foundation of a successful family-owned company. With her experience and process expertise, she remains a key pillar of the Purchasing department – and a testament to what strong cooperation can achieve over decades.

LAUDA Presents the Dr.-Rudolf-Wobser-Medal to Indian Partner
LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG has honored Sandeep Sawant, Managing Director & CEO of Sawant Process Solutions Pvt. Ltd. from Mumbai, with the Dr.-Rudolf-Wobser-Medal. The family company's highest distinction was presented to him at an evening event during analytica 2026 in Munich, in the presence of invited guests. Dr. Gunther Wobser, President & CEO of LAUDA, personally conducted the ceremony.
LAUDA awards the Dr.-Rudolf-Wobser-Medal as its highest honor to individuals who have rendered extraordinary service to the family company. Sandeep Sawant is only the fourth external recipient in the history of this award, which Dr. Gunther Wobser established on the company's 60th anniversary and which has since been presented to a total of 22 individuals. The first two recipients were Dr. Gerhard Wobser, who attended the ceremony, and his brother Karlheinz – the two sons of the company's founder and the award's namesake, Dr. Rudolf Wobser.
The festive evening also provided an opportunity to look back on seven decades of company history: In 2026, LAUDA celebrates its 70th anniversary – from its founding by Dr. Rudolf Wobser in 1956 to its current position as the world market leader for temperature control equipment and systems.
The collaboration between LAUDA and Sawant Process Solutions began in 2009. What started as a classic sales partnership developed over the years into a close personal bond between the Wobser and Sawant families. A decisive turning point came with a visit in November 2023: Dr. Gunther Wobser traveled to India together with his wife at the invitation of Sandeep Sawant and his family – and experienced firsthand the potential that this market and this partnership hold for LAUDA. “Getting to know another culture and connecting with people is an important success factor for a family-run company where people are at the center of everything,” emphasizes Dr. Gunther Wobser.
The highlight of their shared history to date is the joint venture ‘Degree LAUDA Precision Pvt. Ltd.’, established in November 2025 and headquartered in Pune. Sandeep's daughter Devaki Sawant serves as a director of the joint company alongside Marco Hauser and Dr. Gunther Wobser. Devaki Sawant was also present at the award ceremony in Munich – a visible sign of the cross-generational dimension of this partnership.
Dr. Gunther Wobser underscored the significance of this relationship in his laudation: “What began as a sales partnership is today a bond built on mutual trust and genuine personal connection – one that LAUDA honors in the highest possible way with the Dr.-Rudolf-Wobser-Medal.”
LAUDA looks forward with confidence to the continued development of the joint company Degree LAUDA Precision and the partnership with Sawant Process Solutions in the high-growth Indian market.

LAUDA Award for APP Systems Services, Asistec, Berner and LAUDA-Brinkmann
LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG, the world market leader in precise temperature control, is honoring four sales partners with the LAUDA Award: APP Systems Services Pte Ltd (Singapore), RTD Technology Ltd T/A Asistec (Ireland), Berner Ltd (Finland), and the U.S. subsidiary LAUDA-Brinkmann, LP (Marlton, New Jersey). The awards recognize outstanding sales performance and sustainable growth in 2025 across different regions and industries.
APP Systems Services Pte Ltd (Singapore) – Continuous Growth Over Five Years
APP Systems Services Pte Ltd receives the LAUDA Award for the long-time agency with continuous increase in sales for a remarkable growth story: the distributor, founded in 1982 and employing around 170 people, significantly increased its sales from 2020 to 2025. With LAUDA-Noah process thermostats, APP Systems Services serves the semiconductor market in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam.
RTD Technology Ltd T/A Asistec (Ireland) – New Agency With Outstanding Sales Success
Already in its first fiscal year as a LAUDA partner, Asistec achieved impressive results – including a major project with four LAUDA Integral XT 550 process thermostats for the pharmaceutical industry. As a new agency with outstanding sales success, Asistec is being honored with the LAUDA Award. Tony Harbison, Owner and Managing Director of the company founded in 2009, brings approximately 40 years of experience in scientific and laboratory environments and operates in one of Europe's most dynamic pharmaceutical markets.
Berner Ltd (Finland) – Highest Sales Increase
Due to a sales increase of 75 percent within one year, Berner receives the LAUDA Award as the most important agency with the highest sales increase. This growth is driven by the core markets of chemistry, pharma, and bioproduction. Since April 1967 – and thus for nearly 60 years – Berner has been one of the most reliable partners of LAUDA. With locations in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Estonia, the distributor covers the entire Nordic-Baltic region.
LAUDA-Brinkmann, LP (USA) – Best Agency for Plant Engineering
With outstanding results in the field of plant engineering, LAUDA-Brinkmann has secured the LAUDA Award “Best Agency for Plant Engineering” and has established this business area as a new growth driver in the North American market. The subsidiary, founded in 2008 as the successor to Brinkmann Instruments, serves the entire North American region. CEO and General Manager Michael Faulkner and his team have thereby created a solid foundation upon which LAUDA will strategically expand its plant engineering business in the areas of pharma, pharmaceutical chemistry, and automotive in North America.
Dr. Gunther Wobser, President & CEO of LAUDA, emphasizes the importance of global partnerships: “APP Systems Services, Asistec, Berner, and our own subsidiary LAUDA-Brinkmann represent what sets LAUDA apart worldwide: partners who know their markets, are technically competent, and deliver results. Their dedication and market expertise are the cornerstone of our international growth – and proof that strong partnerships are the decisive success factor in global competition.”
LAUDA will continue to deepen its existing partnerships in the coming years and will strategically expand its international sales in the pharma, semiconductor, chemistry, and plant engineering sectors.

World market leader increases customer contacts again
analytica 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for laboratory technology, analytics, and biotechnology, has come to a close in Munich after four successful days. With 1,135 exhibitors from 40 countries, the international trade fair once again confirmed its role as the industry’s most important gathering. For LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG, the global market leader in precise temperature control, analytica 2026 was a special event: The family-owned company is celebrating its 70th anniversary throughout the year and entered the show with the clear goal of inspiring the public. The strategy paid off: Customer contacts saw single-digit percentage growth – even in light of geopolitically driven travel restrictions. A festive evening with international guests rounded out the trade show appearance and underscored the close ties of LAUDA with its partners.
Focus on the New LAUDA Universa Product Line and Digital Solutions
Under the trade show motto “LAUDA – The Home of Innovation. Since 1956,” the temperature control specialist presented its booth concept in Hall B1, Booth 504, centered around three key themes: the new modular LAUDA Universa product line, comprehensive digital solutions, and expanded service offerings. The trade audience showed great interest in the completely new designed Universa product line, which was showcased for the first time at analytica in all three performance classes – ECO, PRO, and MAX. With a temperature range of -90 to 300 °C, temperature stability of up to ±0.01 K, a modular design, and natural refrigerants, the product line sets new standards for flexibility, performance, and sustainability in the laboratory.
LAUDA Mobifreeze also attracted a great deal of attention. It is the world’s first mobile, battery-powered ultra-low-temperature chest freezer, capable of operating independently of the power grid at temperatures as low as -86 °C, and is fundamentally transforming cold-chain logistics for temperature-sensitive substances.
At the digitalization podium on the LAUDA booth, visitors experienced firsthand how the LAUDA Command app, the LAUDA.LIVE Services cloud solution, and an AI-powered chat and voice assistant ensure device operation, remote maintenance, and round-the-clock service availability. In addition, LAUDA participated in the special “Digital Transformation” show with a combination of Universa bath thermostats, intelligent sensor technology, and a cobot robot arm as a fully integrated, automated laboratory workflow.
“In our 70th anniversary year, one thing was paramount for us at analytica: staying close to our customers, inspiring them with our solutions, and creating real added value. The strong response to our Universa product line, our digital solutions, and our service innovations confirms our belief that we will gain even more momentum in this area in the future,” summarizes Dr. Gunther Wobser, President & CEO of LAUDA and also Chairman of the trade show’s Exhibitor Advisory Board. “As the world’s leading trade fair, analytica provides the ideal setting for this – and motivates us to boldly drive the development of precise temperature control technology forward.”
Press Event at the LAUDA Booth
A press event was once again held at the LAUDA booth for representatives of the trade media. Members of management and the product marketing team gave the press representatives a tour of the booth, presented the latest innovations, and were available to answer questions.
Following analytica, LAUDA is seamlessly continuing its busy trade show schedule: Starting in April, the company will be exhibiting at a total of 13 additional trade shows – including the Hannover Messe, the Battery Show in Stuttgart, the Automotive Testing Expo also in Stuttgart, and Lab Supply events at various locations throughout Germany. These trade show appearances offer LAUDA the opportunity to present its innovations to a broad professional audience from other industries and application fields and to continuously deepen its dialogue with customers and partners.

LAUDA management team launches strategy process at the 2026 World Jour Fixe
The international management team of LAUDA met for its annual World Jour Fixe from March 18 to 20, 2026, at the company's headquarters in Lauda-Königshofen. For the first time in the spring, the managing directors of the global subsidiaries also met with the management team of LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG – shortly after the company's 70th anniversary and just before the analytica trade fair in Munich.
The three-day strategy meeting focused on general discussions, the development of concrete future scenarios, and the further development of the company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). In cross-functional working sessions covering sales, production, and the supporting functions of finance, human resources, and IT, participants developed scenarios and measures designed to secure the continued success of LAUDA in the coming years.
The three-day strategy meeting focused on the development of concrete future scenarios and the further development of the company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). “The World Jour Fixe impressively confirmed that we, as the management team, are united and determined to set the right course for the future,” emphasized Managing Partner Dr. Gunther Wobser. “We are confident that we will achieve our sales and order intake targets – and ideally even exceed them by winning new major projects.”
The Lauda-Königshofen location provided more than just the organizational setting: As the headquarters of the family-owned company, it represents the roots of LAUDA and served as the central starting point in this anniversary year for jointly looking ahead. An opening evening at the “REBgut” restaurant and a joint dinner in Markelsheim followed by a bowling tournament strengthened team spirit.
The scenarios and measures developed will be further refined in the coming months to consistently continue the growth trajectory of LAUDA as the world market leader in precise temperature control.
