Worldwide requirements for LAUDA Heating and cooling systems
LAUDA Heating and cooling systems are used all over the world for temperature control. LAUDA machines and installations are thus subject to a wide variety of national rules and safety regulations. For this reason, systems for the generation of temperatures between -150 and 400°C, for example, contain pressurized components that require an explosion-proof construction for use in pharmaceutical companies and chemical companies.
LAUDA works on certification together with qualified suppliers and accredited test authorities. Comprehensive full documentation for all individual parts and the necessary safety units on the installation are necessary to guarantee a seamless certification process.

The North American market, in particular requires ASME certification of all pressure vessels. After successful testing, these vessels receive the so-called U Stamp. LAUDA will provide pressure vessels with this qualification if required.
All LAUDA Heating and cooling systems are supplied with an integrated switch cabinet. Here the directives of the UL 508A apply to the North American market. LAUDA can manufacture the switch cabinet in accordance with these directives and have the switch cabinets certified in accordance with UL 508A by one of the authorities listed.
The importation of pressure vessels to China requires prior registration with the SELO Authority located in Beijing. LAUDA works with registered suppliers of vessels for this purpose. The registered components are marked on the type plate as required.
The Korean organization KOSHA tests the safety of machines and installations for operation in Korea. All the LAUDA documentation is submitted to KOSHA for testing in collaboration with accredited testing authorities. The LAUDA installation is then delivered with the KC mark after confirmation of conformity.
