The technical training is instructed by a master technician in the modern training workshop, working on LAUDA equipment and systems, the manufacture of which requires special skills. Good skilled workers are always needed, which is why we take on all trainees after they successfully pass their examinations.

Traineeship Jobs at LAUDA

Industrial managers deal with business-management related tasks like purchasing, work preparation, financing, controlling, human resources, distribution, marketing and order completion. They are responsible for all routine office tasks. They compare, for example, materials management offers and negotiate purchases with suppliers. In the sales and distribution area, creating offers for clients also belongs to the area of responsibility. In the marketing department, they are responsible for the implementation of advertising measures, plan trade fairs and run the LAUDA website. Processing, booking and inspecting the routine business processes counts among their tasks in the area of finances.

  • in Tauberbischofsheim/1.5 days a week

Prerequisite:

Industrial Manager (m/f) with additional qualification International Economic Management with foreign languages

 

As an internationally active company, we also offer the Industrial Manager (m/f) with additional qualification as an alternative to the Industrial Manager (m/f), when the prerequisites are fulfilled.

Industrial mechanics (m/f) usually work on the production floor where they construct equipment, machines and processing systems. In addition, they operate systems and control production flows. They are just as familiar with techniques like turning, milling, drilling, grinding and the different jointing methods as they are with assembling component parts. Maintenance and repair to systems, manufacturing product parts, inspecting parts and assembling mechanical components complete the scope of their duties. Typical areas of application for industrial mechanics are the repair shop, machines and systems construction and on the production floor.

Prerequisite:

Electronics engineers for equipment and systems (m/f) manufacture electronic parts and devices which they then put into operation, maintain and repair. They produce components and devices, for example, for information and communication technology, medical technology and measurement and testing technology. They put systems and devices into operation and keep them running. They work in the manufacturing area, in the inspection and quality assurance areas, in the repair shop and in maintenance as well as sometimes in the development department.

Prerequisite:

Intermediate educational achievement, interest in mathematics, natural sciences, electronics, dexterity of hand and fingers, logical thinking, good color recognition and identification skills

Mechatronics technicians for refrigeration technology (m/f) are responsible for reliable cooling and the correct environmental conditions. First and foremost in their training is the acquisition of skills and knowledge which they will require for the entire installation, maintenance and repair of constant temperature equipment (heating and cooling). The processing of a complex customer order, thermostating technology and economic and social studies are the examination areas of the advanced trade test. After the traineeship, mechatronics technicians for refrigeration technology (m/f) are deployed at LAUDA on the production floor in the devices construction and testing areas or in the service and maintenance areas.

Dual Education with LAUDA

The dual education option is a university course with fixed, integrated practical blocks at the company. It differs to “classic” study programs by offering a greater practical focus. This way, it combines the merits of a fully-fledged academic degree with the advantages of practical training.

At LAUDA, the following courses are possible in the dual system:

The International Business degree first off includes as a core qualification the entire business management expertise of the International Business program. The traineeship is offered primarily through English. In the company, knowledge is applied and deepened in the areas of acquisition, work preparation, distribution, order completion, marketing, human resources, finances and controlling. The profile subject of Innovation and Technology adds engineering science aspects to the managerial skills learned. In the course, the technical basics of the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, materials technology and machine, device and drive technology are covered. In a project-oriented method, technical-managerial issues are analyzed and strategies for team-oriented trouble-shooting practiced.

Focusing on Construction and Development as part of Mechanical Engineering studies, the dual university communicates the knowledge needed to successfully execute the tasks related to the development of machinery and systems. Here, extensive knowledge of advanced mathematics, technical mechanics, science of material strength and mechanical dynamics is required as well as of the behavior and properties of materials. At the end of the program, the student should be able to come up with ideas in the form of designs and drawings, which are related either to the redevelopment of a product or the further development of an already existing one.

In this course of studies, lectures from the theory phase will be held in the areas of Technology and Economics. Further events like English and Project Management round off the course contents. After the training, graduates are responsible for the application, setup and function of refrigeration technology plants and systems. They are familiar with different techniques of cooling generation, cater for the efficient use of energy and take note of the required legal and safety-relevant regulations. At LAUDA, the training is done primarily in the profit center "Heating and Cooling Systems (HKS)". There, students gain an insight into the organizational setup and the company processes relevant to them.

In the cooperative Electrical Engineering course, the first 24 months involve the completion of training to become an Electronics Engineer for Devices and Systems (m/f). Over the next seven semesters, the students work to achieve their Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering. During the time off between semesters, they will work at the company, where they will also write their bachelor theses. The university communicates the mathematical and natural-scientific basic knowledge as well as detailed specialist knowledge in specific subject-relevant theoretical fundamentals like electrical engineering, electrical drive technology, automation, regulation technology and digital technology. In the training workshop, students will receive the necessary practical foundation.

Third-level education:
